Marketing Ads: Display and Social Media

Instagram Paid Ads

 

While working at Match.com, I consistently had to design ads for the different properties: Match.com, People Media (BlackPeopleMeet.com, OurTime.com, SingleParentMeet, etc.), Tinder, PerPerfeito, and more. These ads were made for both for desktop and mobile, sized at 1080x1080px. Each of these ads beat controls through A/B testing and had positive results. The ads were targeted at different people, based on location, interests, and age. The Instagram space is generally more art-centered, so these ads had a bit more leverage than other display spaces and could play off the CTA and overall audience.

 

Facebook Newsfeed Ads

While working at Match.com, I consistently had to design ads for the different properties: Match.com, People Media (BlackPeopleMeet.com, OurTime.com, SingleParentMeet, etc.), Tinder, PerPerfeito, and more. These ads were made for the Facebook Newsfeed space, both for desktop and mobile, sized at 1200x628px. Each of these ads beat controls through A/B testing and had positive results.

 

Facebook Multi-Product Carousel Ads

While working at Match.com, I consistently had to design ads for the different properties: Match.com, People Media (BlackPeopleMeet.com, OurTime.com, SingleParentMeet, etc.), Tinder, PerPerfeito, and more. These ads were made for the Facebook Multi-Product Ad space, both for desktop and mobile, sized at 1080x1080px. Each of these ads beat controls through A/B testing and had positive results. The ads were targeted at different people, based on location, interests, and age.

 

Video Ads

While working at Match.com, I designed ads for the different properties: Match.com, People Media (BlackPeopleMeet.com, OurTime.com, SingleParentMeet, etc.), Tinder, PerPerfeito, and more. These ads were made for the Facebook Newsfeed Ad space and the Instagram Ad space, both for desktop and mobile, sized at 1080x1080px.

Love is Magic

While working on the marketing team at Match.com, I was able to experiment with new ideas and concepts. One of the questions that appeared on a self-evaluation form was, "What special skills do you have that you wish you could bring more to Match?" As a magician, I knew there was a way I could bring magic to Match, and having the team support me the way they did, I was able to conceptualize and create an idea from start to finish. I drew out the initial concept, filmed myself doing the magic, edited the video, and added stock music to best fit the advertisement. This advertisment displayed on Instagram and Facebook and resonated the most with people in the 18-24 year old age range

Match is for Everyone

Many times people feel isolated in the world, and the dating scene puts that isolation on display. People feel like they don't quite belong on sites and feel like they are constantly pushed away for one reason or another. After talking with so many people and hearing their stories, I wanted a way to show that Match was inclusive. I wanted to give people a utility that was made for them.

Princeton Review

Princeton Review and Tutor.com were acquired by Match group in 2014. While working at Match.com, I was asked to design ads for both Princeton Review and Tutor. Some of these ads were targeted towards students of all ages, while other ads were targeted more towards parents. The ads marketed Princeton Review's various services including test prep, tutoring, and homework help.

International Ads

 

While working at Match.com, I had the opportunity to design ads for international dating sites including Pairs, Match Japan, Par Perfeito, and Divino Amor. Each of these ads beat controls through A/B testing and had positive results.
